Middle School Science Team

Middle School Science Team is open to students in grades 6-8, by invitation only.

The Science Bowl Team is a team made up of middle school students who compete in a scholastic Science Bowl and build model racecars that run utilizing hydrogen that has been electrolyzed from water. The team meets weekly from November to March, both at lunch and after school, and meets on some Saturdays to prepare for the Regional Science Bowl event in April. At that event, the team will compete with schools from Montana, Idaho, Washington, and Oregon to win the chance to compete at the National Middle School Science Event held in Denver, Colorado each June. This team is sponsored by the US Department of Energy, the DuPont Corporation, and GMAC.
